How does Budget Jobs pricing work?
There are no signup fees or monthly subscriptions.
A 20% platform fee is automatically factored into the agreed job total. Employers will pay the amount that is stated on the Jobbers bid which includes this 20%. This is calculated for the jobber when their bid is placed, so they’ll always know exactly how much they’ll earn upon completion. A R10 withdrawal fee also applies each time you transfer funds from your wallet. There are no hidden fees.
Can I post my job for free?
Absolutely! You can sign up, create an account, and post jobs at no cost. We only charge a percentage of the total paid for completed jobs, which is automatically deducted from the final bid amount.
How many jobs can I post for free?
You can post an unlimited number of Jobs, services or skills for free. We do not currently have any membership restrictions.
How & when do I pay?
Once you’ve selected your Jobber and agreed on a bid amount, you’ll need to deposit the full amount into your BudgetJobs Wallet to proceed with hiring.
Go to your Dashboard > Statements > Deposit to Wallet.
Deposit the agreed job amount into your BudgetJobs Wallet.
Once the funds reflect, return to Posted Jobs and accept the proposal from your selected Jobber to officially hire them.
When will I be charged?
The 20% platform fee is already included in the agreed job total. When the Employer deposits the full amount into their Wallet, the fee is automatically deducted. The Jobber receives the remaining 80% once the job is completed and approved. The Jobber is fully aware of the amount they will receive when bidding, as the calculation is made transparent during the proposal process.

How Services Work on Budget Jobs
For Jobbers (Service Providers):
You can post services that employers can buy directly.
The platform takes a 20% fee from each sale.
You can create packages (e.g. 5 hours, 10 hours, or a set deliverable) or charge a fixed fee for a service.
Avoid listing “hourly rates” unless you’re intentionally selling 1-hour packages.
For Employers (Service Buyers):
You can purchase a service directly via the “Buy now” button.
At checkout, your payment goes into the Budget Jobs wallet for safekeeping.
Once the Jobber completes the work and you’re satisfied, you simply release the payment to them.
